15 minutes before the plane touches down..................................
The captain comes over the loud speaker with the announcement that we will be landing in Scotland in 15 minutes. Matt is the first one awake he woke Jeff up next and told him to get him his bag from the over head compartment. Jeff hands Matt his bag and Matt digs around in it until he finds their hotel information. He wrote down the name of the hotel they were staying at and their room number. He handed the bag back to Jeff and Jeff put it back up. After Jeff sat back down Matt woke me up. He woke me up by gently touching my shoulder and telling me that it is time to wake up beautiful. Oh I think I am going to melt here and now. After Matt woke me up he handed me the piece of paper with their hotel on it and told me to call them after I spoke to Katie. I told him that I would do that.
Arriving in Scotland...................................................
When the plane landed in Scotland Jeff, Matt and myself got off the plane, Matt and I were hand in hand as we walked up the ramp into the airport. Katie was not at the gate waiting for me but she left a message with the airline saying she was running late.
I decided to go ahead and get my luggage, which excited the guys, cause that meant that they did not have to leave me so soon. We went downstairs to get our luggage when we got to the luggage carrier we picked up our luggage and went and sat down on the nearest bench. Matt excused himself so he could go to the restroom. Jeff went over to get a local newspaper to see if there was an article about the pay per view in it. When Jeff was on his way back over to sit down some guy came over and sat down next to me and starting hitting on me I mean severely hitting on me. I told him I was not interested but he kept it up. Well when Jeff saw the guy he walked over to us and told the guy to leave me alone. The guy did not listen at first but then Jeff made it very clear what would happen to the guy if he did not leave, the guy finally left. It is funny how Jeff is starting to act protective of me.
When Matt came back from using the restroom Jeff told him what had happened and Matt said that the guy was lucky he was not here or the guy would not have walked away he would have been sent away in an ambulance. I told Matt that was a little too drastic for him to think about doing to some guy over me. Matt sat down beside me put his hand on my leg and told me that we would do anything to protect me from harm. That statement worried me I mean I had only known Matt and Jeff for half a day and already Matt was telling me he would do anything to protect me. I think Matt is falling for me a little too hard and too fast, I mean I like him and all even before I met him. But I am making sure that I am going out with him because I like him not because he is one of the Hardy Boyz. I am putting all the thoughts I had of him before the flight out of my mind I want to get to know the real Matt and not go by what I know about him from television and magazines.
Jeff looked at the clock and told Matt that it was time for them to go to their hotel and rest up because they had an autograph signing in the morning. Jeff came over and gave me a hug and reminded me that I better call him about talking to Katie, I told him I promised I would talk to her and then call him. He said that if she was anything like me he knew she was going to be fun. I told him that I think they would get along rather well, again not telling him that Katie would jump at the chance to date him. Matt was still sitting beside me, I looked over at him and he had the saddest face. I asked him what was wrong and he told me that he is sad because he has to leave me now. I told him not to worry we would see each other soon. We both stood up and hugged and then he kissed me ever so softly on the cheek.
Back upstairs at gate.......................................
After the guys left I went upstairs and sat by my gate waiting for Katie to arrive. Katie arrived about 5 minutes after I sat down. When we saw each other we both screamed and then hugged each other. It was so good to see her again. She said," Wow JJ you look great!" So do you I said to Katie. We got my luggage and headed to Katie’s car. We put my luggage in the trunk of the car and then we got in. Katie offered to let me drive but I declined. Looking back I should have because what I was about to tell her was going to make her go nuts.
In Katie’s car......................................................
I tried to act normal but it was hard to do I was already so excited about spending time with my best friend but I was almost as excited about what had happened on the plane. We had drove for about 5 minutes when I decided to tell Katie what had happened. When we were stopped at a light I looked at Katie and said with a serious face, "How would you like to go out on a date Saturday night?" She looked at me with the weirdest look on her face and then she said, "JJ you are my best friend but I do not think that I want to date you. You know I am not like that." I just laughed when she said that. Katie asked me what was so funny but I was laughing too hard to say anything. Finally I calmed down enough where I could speak again. I told Katie that I did not mean me. Katie said, "I did not think so but you had me wondering. So who is this guy you want me to go on a date with?" I told her that she would not believe when I told her who it was. "Let me guess, Jeff Hardy?" she said jokingly. I grinned the biggest grin she had ever seen on my face and with that she said, "Yea right." I proceeded to tell her everything that had happened earlier that day. Katie told me that she wanted to believe me but she was not sure if she could because I had a very long plane ride to think this story up. I asked her if I had ever lied to her before and she said no. (See I am a good friend.....lol) I asked Katie where we were staying and she said we had a room at the Hilton.
At the hotel..........................................................
We arrived at our hotel, got my luggage out of Katie’s trunk and then walked inside. When we walked in I immediately stopped and Katie looked at me and asked, "What is wrong?" "Oh sorry, nothing is wrong it is just that they were building this place last time I was here and I must say they did the most incredible job" I said with astonishment in my eyes. "It is the biggest and best hotel in Glasgow now" Katie said with pride in her voice. We went to the counter and got our room key, we are in room 56. We walked down the hallway and got onto the elevator.
